Woman Finds Postcard In Mailbox That Was Sent To Her Address 100 Years Ago.

Brittany from Michigan was sifting through her mailbox when she stumbled upon a 100-year-old postcard among her usual bills and junk mail. "Dear Cousins, Hope this will find you all well. We are quite well but the mother has awful lame knees. It is awful cold here, " it said.

A woman from Michigan was sifting through her mailbox when she stumbled upon a 100-year-old postcard among her usual bills and junk mail. Brittany Keech was shocked to discover the postcard in this age and expressed her surprise on social media as well.

Talking about the interesting event, Brittany revealed that she has now been trying to locate the relatives of the recipient of the postcard. The postcard, according to t the woman, had a George Washington stamp in the top right-hand corner and was postmarked October 29th, 1920.

Brittany shared pictures of the card on social media along with the emotional message that was written on it.

"Dear Cousins, Hope this will find you all well. We are quite well but the mother has awful lame knees. It is awful cold here. I just finished my history lesson and am going to bed pretty soon. My father is shaving and my mother is telling me your address. I will have to close for a night. Hope grandma and grandpa are well. Don’t forget to write to us – Roy gets his pants fixed yet," it said.
