They are called the "Valais Blacknose Sheep" who nearly went extinct two times, once because of the disease and once because of the cross-breeding. These fluffy cuties have black ears, knees, feet, nose, and hocks with an abundance of hair on their head. They love to follow around their humans and are popular pets because of their friendly nature.
Recently they have caught people's attention because of their obvious cuteness. In Switzerland, they are documented in historical writings as far back as the 15th century, under their local name of Walliser Schwarznasenschaf.
This unique breed nearly went extinct two times, once because of a disease and the other time because of the cross-breeding.
They have black ears, knees, feet, and hocks. Both the male and female look same, the only difference is that the females also have black under their tails.
They absolutely love to play with humans and follow them around.
They were recently brought to New Zealand and very soon these fluffy cuties will be seen all around the world.
Everything from their crimped fur, off white afro-like hair, blackface, and fluffy pawpaws make me want to take every one of them home with me.
The breed has already gained a foothold in the UK and was recently brought to New Zealand. Its only a matter of time before these cuties are found all around the world.
