Tyler Perry is one of the most generous and kind celebrities in Hollywood. He always helped and gave whatever he could to his community in Atlanta. And now he introduced a TPS giveaway which gave 5000 needy families gifts and groceries.
Thousands of people in Atlanta will have a Happy Thanksgiving thanks to the generosity of Tyler Perry. The kind hearted and one of the most generous celebrity has helped people around him at every low time in this pandemic.
He was there for the senior citizens to pay for their groceries, he was the one tipping $500 to many unemployed servers back when lockdown was announced. Earlier this year, he was the one donating 1,000 Kroger gift cards to be distributed to the community by the Atlanta Police Department.

And now, on Nov. 22, Perry opened the grounds of his Tyler Perry Studios to distribute groceries and gift cards among the families in need and the distribution ended up being great.

Perry made an announcement via social media and invited local families to the drive-up distribution center to dlso they can collect a box filled with all the necessary Thanksgiving fixings and a grocery gift card.
Perry promised to distribute 5,000 boxes to 5000 families who came first during what they dubbed the TPSGiving event.
People started lining up in their cars on the day before the giveaway, and traffic eventually backed up for miles and miles.
The first car in line got here at 3pm...YESTERDAY. #TPSGiving starts at 8am. Already, lines extend miles long, causing back-ups on Langford Pkwy and I-20.@TPstudios will be giving away non-perishables and gift cards to 5K families.

The demand of the gift boxes was so high, volunteers gave out the final box after only two hours of the beginning of service.
