This Stray Dog Was Found Cuddling 'Five Abandoned Newborn Kittens' On A Freezing Cold Winter Night In Canada.

This kind stray dog was found cuddling five abandoned newborn kittens at the side of the road by a passerby on a freezing cold winter night in Canada. The passerby reported to the shelter house who rushed to the scene to rescue them.

A passerby spotted a stray dog cuddling 'five newborn kittens' to keep them warm and alive. The kittens had been abandoned in the snow on a freezing cold night in Canada. The person who found the kind dog with the kittens immediately reported the shelter house who rushed to the scene and rescued them. The dog, who is around 2-years-old, was named 'Serenity' by the shelter workers. Serenity had received many adoption requests since her heroics came to light and will be ready for adoption on 3rd December. The kittens, however, are still being fostered as they are too young for adoption.

Rescue workers named the heroic dog 'Serenity' who is around two years old. Serenity received many adoption requests since her heroics came to light and will be ready for a loving home on December 3 after being spayed.

4. Serenity keeps a check on her 'five kittens' but sadly won't go home with the kittens

The kittens are being fostered and are too young for adoption, they are receiving the usual treatment for flea and worm infestations, Fox29 reports.

'The shelter staff is concerned about getting backlash for not adopting me out with the kittens that I was found with. If they waited for the kittens to be ready that would mean that I wouldn't have my forever family for a couple of months,' the shelter staff said on Facebook

'At the end of the day, I am just happy that the kittens were found with me and are now resting peacefully in a warm foster home instead of outside in the cold.'

'I love zooming around outside and will run circles around any person or object that is out in the yard with me. The shelter staff has been working on it, but I can be quite jumpy and need to be taught some manners,' the shelter added.
