This litter of 5 Russian Maine Coon kittens look like someone used a face swap app on them, that too, with a grumpy grandpa.
Pet owners around the world would agree that we all spend a lot of time reading and deciphering pet faces and expressions.
Where some animals do give human-like expressions from time to time, this is the first time I saw a permanent human-like expression on an animal.
It’s adorably disturbing. I don’t know what to think about it.
These adorable five human-faced kittens are taking over the internet. The entire litter consists of kittens that look like gray-haired grandpas.
They came to the world in October 2019 to the Russian Maine coon breeder Catsvill County.
Breeder Tatiana Rastorgueva has been working with the breed for 16 years, intending to breed cats with “definite” features.
If, by definite features, she means kittens that look like some face swapped them with a grumpy grandpa, then she is on the right track.
This is not the first time one of her kittens broke the internet. A year ago, another kitten with a remarkably human face made the rounds. She was named Valkyrie and had a lot of similarities with these newborn grey kittens.
Valkyrie eventually made it to her final home. Here’s to hoping these kittens also do.
