Liz got married to someone who she thought was the love of her life. However their love story wasn't strong enough to survive the challenge that soon came their way.
As far as Liz Haslam is concerned, her day-to-day bliss comes from the affection and efforts she puts into securing dogs in need. It's something she appreciates tremendously, and the end results are well justified, despite all the trouble – unequivocal love and appreciation from 'fixed' pooches.
Furthermore, to state that she wouldn't change her identity for anybody on the planet is a completely modest representation of the truth. Be that as it may, the satisfaction that she has today was an aftereffect of the hardest choice she's ever had to make in her life: picking between her significant other and her dogs.
Like a large portion of us who get hitched, Liz thought she'd met the one for her. She initially met Mike when she was 16-years of age, and they became hopelessly enamored. After completing secondary school, the pair got hitched. Following the wedding, Liz moved out from her folks' home into another spot to begin her married life with Mike.
The two settled down in the English countryside, content in a 2-bedroom house close to an enormous rural garden situated in Barnham, Suffolk. They were hitched for more than 25 years and had their kid Ollie during that time. Sadly, their romantic tale wasn't meant to last forever!

Liz Haslam with some of her bullies...
It's only 5 but getting 5 to pose is hard enough!
When they moved to the countryside, Liz acknowledged that there was a lot of space for her to begin a business that was always close to her heart: Beds for Bullies, an establishment that offers a safe house to bull terriers in need.
In any case, Mike felt that their relationship had started to spin exclusively around the dogs – a significant number of which had therapeutic as well as behavioral issues, which kept them from finding their forever homes. Eventually, tired of the whole scenario that was making them drift apart, Mike had an encounter with Liz.
"My husband said ‘It’s either the dogs or me. Since that moment I have neither seen nor heard from him," she stated. The truth of the matter is, Mike was overpowered by the affection that Liz felt for her rescue dogs. He realized that she had been raised with dogs for a large portion of her life.
Moreover, her mom bred West Highland Terriers, while her dad ran an animal feed organization. "I thought that, after 25 years, he should’ve known that giving up dogs was not a part of my intentions, not at all. He knew from the moment we got married what I was all about. I don’t know what he expected," she added.
It's only natural for not every second person to be an animal lover and Liz was very much aware of this, and after a long dialog, the couple arrived at the resolution that the most advantageous alternative for everybody included is separation as their needs had changed. Ever since Liz has been completely invested in her dogs, and she's quite happy as you can see!
