A Salt Lake City flight attendant in Utah is getting popular on TikTok for exchanging ideas you must keep in mind while staying at the hotel to be healthy, relaxed, happy, and most importantly safe.
The video of Katherine Kamalani witnessed a whopping 5.7 million times, had more than 1.2 million likes, and received more than 3.3k comments on the video-sharing platform. So it is no wonder that there are lots of people talking about it.
Katherine in her now-viral video shares hacks of do's and dont's one must follow while checking into a hotel.
While hacks from the 30-year-old are helpful and lots of people have loved them, some social media users have pointed out they are not groundbreaking. Some think the advice is basic common sense, others think it's a bit 'paranoid.'
She has noticed some changes at hotels since the onset of the pandemic, according to the flight attendant. Now she notices people at hotel gyms as well as in pools. who practice social distance.
“If you don’t use the plastic wrap for the ice bucket put it over your remote. That thing sees so many hands but doesn’t get cleaned,” she said.
Kat has a total of 7 tips, including never telling your room number aloud (just in case someone is around you), making sure that when you go into your hotel room there is nobody behind you, and locking the doors properly.
Some social media users thought that even if they do help keep travelers safe, these tips might be a tad too 'paranoid.' Yet being safe is better than being sorry, right?
