Last week, a curious goat jumped into a Georgia police car to munch on paperwork, spill a drink and finally head-butt a cop to the pavement. Everything had been captured on bodycam footage.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office uploaded the video on Facebook. As per the post, at the time of the encounter, an on-duty sheriff's deputy who remains unidentified was serving civil papers.
She'd left the door unlocked for the driver. Moments later , a new (and uninvited) passenger arrived.
"Due to the number of houses [the deputy] visits daily, she routinely leaves her vehicle's door open because she has had to [retreat] on a number of occasions from vicious dogs," the sheriff's office wrote.
"Never once did she expect or even consider what was about to happen this day!"
As the deputy knocks on the house's door, she's heard saying, “I hope that goat don’t get in my car."
Seconds after, she laughs and says, "Oh [expletive], he's eating the paper."
The deputy hurries back to the car while fighting for documents in her hands, attempting to nudge the goat from the front seat.
It knocks her to the ground with its head as the fuzzy animal eventually leaves the car, leaving chewed-up papers and a soda that is no longer stored in the cup holder.
The deputy was uninjured, the sheriff's office said.
"[Although] she was knocked to the ground she was not physically harmed in the incident," the sheriff's office said. "At the end of the day we all got a little laugh out of it and we hope you do as well!"
