Millie Bobby Brown says although the public is invested in her, they are having a hard time seeing her growing up. She says,’ Fans 'aren't ready to accept that she's not a young child anymore!
The famous Stranger Things actress, who celebrated her 17th birthday in February, recently opened up about her frustrations with people’s reaction to her being a grown-up or at least behaving like it.
She explains what it's been like to go from a child star to a young lady all while being in the spotlight. The Netflix star says fans "aren't ready at all to accept" this great transition in her life.
In an interview with MTV she said, "I'm only 17, but at the end of the day, I'm learning to be a woman. I'm learning to be a young woman. So being a young girl, people watch you grow up, right? And they've almost become invested in your growth and your journey. But they aren't ready to accept the fact that you're growing up."
Millie is such a wonderful actress and has rocked each role and the best was in Stranger Things and then in ‘Enola Holmes’ she wonderfully played each get-up. So understandably she has a huge fan army but she complains how people aren’t understanding and always make a fuss about her fashion choices relating to her age.
The English actress explained that her fashion choices are usually a topic of conversation. And it's not always in the best way. This makes her quite frustrated and she wants people and fans to be more accepting and after all, she has turned 17 this year.
