Fans of horror movies, this is your dream work! So you can watch 24 hours of Halloween night horror movies, CableTV.com and HighSpeedInternet.com are giving away $1,000 so you can binge. You will receive lots of Halloween candy if you are selected, and a $50 Starbucks gift card to help you stay up.
Halloween and terrifying movies come hand in hand, particularly when we get our spook on from a healthy social distance in 2020!
That's why it's the best year to schedule a horror movie marathon because now you might get paid for the work as a company is giving one lucky ghoul the opportunity to win $1,000 for binge-watching horror films for the whole 24 hours.
The successful candidate is also offered a $50 Starbucks gift card by CableTV.com and HighSpeedInternet.com so they won't be short of coffee to help see them through the 24-hour shift.
Although, of course, if the selected films are frightening enough, they certainly won't need them.
According to the competition page: "The sick-cessful candidate is a self-starter with an insatiable lust for nightmare fuel. When others say 'Nope,' you say, 'Hell, yeah'. You can stay up all night. You're a US citizen over the age of 18.
"Most importantly, you’re a big horror fan - 'cause we don't hire posers (not even as interns). You should prefer cult films to blockbusters and probably read Rue Morgue and BloodyDisgusting.com to learn about upcoming fright films.
"If you answered 'yes' to those questions and meet our qualifications - you're the one we stalk."
CableTV.com mentioned that 24 hours is 1,440 minutes, and most feature films are 90 to 120 minutes in length, so the winning candidate will have to choose between 12 and 16 scary movies for the 24-hour horror fest to scare themselves.
This for sure sounds like one of your gruesome fantasies coming true!
