Alex Trebek, one the kindest and giving ones who cared too much for people around the world suffering. He donated too much and his last request before his departure was to care for the suffering ones. And through this donation its fulfilled.
Alex Trebek, the late "Jeopardy" host who was very famous and known for being kind and giving has won the hearts of people even when he is not here with us. It came to our notice that his wardrobe has been donated by the show's team and his family to "The Doe Fund" according to a press release by People magazine.
The donation was mainly set up by Trebek's son Matthew to this charity organization which works for people who are unserved in the USA. Those who are homeless or had addiction issues in the past, or those who struggled with incarceration. Tjis organization give these people opportunities to bounce back and provides enough resources that they are able to compete with people around.
This wardrobe donation was something more than expected and includes a lot of quality stuff that needs to be used according to the events too. As per the donation details given by the organization, it includes 5 suits, 58 dress shirts, 300 neckties, 25 polo shirts, 14 sweaters, 15 belts, nine sports coats, nine pairs of dress shoes, two parkas and three pairs of dress slacks.
The Doe Fund, will give these clothes to those reentering the job market and giving interviews for starting a new life.
"During his last day on set, Alex extolled the virtues of everyone opening up their hands and their hearts to those who are suffering," said Mike Richards. Alex felt for the ones suffering and cared for them too.
