This 17-year old teenager from Argentina got bitten by her friend's German shepherd while doing a photoshoot. The girl got bitten on her face and got 40 stitches on her face. The stitches, which reached her gums, were both internal and external.
Lara Sanson, from Tucuman in Argentina, was busy posing with her friend's dog for a photoshoot when the German shepherd suddenly attacked her.
Sanson ended up with 40 stitches and the incident was captured on her camera as she posted it on her Twitter account. The video shows Sanson posing with the dog, Kenai, happily and suddenly things changed in a fraction of second as Kenai opened his mouth to bite off Sanson's face.
Sanson was immediately shifted to the hospital following the attack where she underwent two hours of operation and got 40 stitches on her face. The stitches, which reached her gums, were internal and external.
Despite her injuries, Sanson says she felt no pain when she was bitten by the dog and even when she went through surgery.
She said, “I only had some bother due to the inflammation and eating problems.”
However, veterinarian Juan Enrique Romero stated that the dog may have bitten her due to a pain he was experiencing.
“Its pains are growing and a pain could have generated this reaction, ” he said in the report.
After her surgery, Sanson has made it very clear that she does not want the dog to be put down and as stressed that it simply as a “photoshoot that goes wrong.”
