Chase Kennedy,22, was always bullied in her school because of her long legs and was nicknamed 'Giraffe' by her schoolfellows. She is now a model but has been turned down by many agencies who say she's just too tall but Chase says she is proud of her legs and wouldn't want anything different.
Chase Kennedy, an American student, has the longest legs in American and measures a lengthy 51 inches – which is 0.9 inches off the world record. She was always bullied back in her school life and was nicknamed 'Giraffe' and 'Legs' but now she has accepted her true beauty and loves her long legs. She says she is proud of her legs now and wouldn't want anything different.
Chase,22, is an American model but she says that she has been turned down by some agencies who say she's just too tall. She is 6 ft 5 inches and enjoys being taller than other people. Because of her height, she faced problems all her school life and wasn't confident in her real self but now she has accepted her true self and is proud of her long legs.
Chase said: “When I was younger, I wished I was smaller just so I could blend in."
“Because you are standing out, it’s kind of hard to feel like you belong. People would make comments about it and call me ‘Twiggy’ or ‘Giraffe’.
“When I was in high school, I always wore flats and I would see girls in high heels at dances and I’d always want to be able to do that.
But the 22-year-old Chase is proud of her legs now and wouldn't want anything different.
Chase Kennedy said: “I am proud of my legs – I wouldn’t want anything different.
Chase's pins measure a lengthy 51 inches – which is 0.9 inches off the world record.
“I believe I hold the record for America’s longest legs and I love being tall.
"When I saw Holly’s video on Barcroft TV I was kind of bummed because I thought maybe her legs were longer than mine and I will never get the title.
She said: “I feel that men are intimidated by my height and it can be hard to find someone who is taller.
“In high school dating was very difficult because men were intimidated by my height and I towered over a lot of them."
“It really doesn’t matter to me too much as long they’re not below 6’1."
Chase said: “I played in high school and it definitely helped in getting picked for a team. In those sports, you always want a taller person.”
Chase got these longs legs from her genes, her dad Matthew stands at 6ft 7in and her mum Chris is 5ft 11in, and her brothers Shane and Devin are 6ft 5in and 6ft 6in.
Chase said: “I feel sorry for anyone who sits behind us at the cinema – we’re like a human wall.”
