But this bird has just touched the chords of hearts and has such fresh colours that intimidate you. The electric blue colour over the upper part of this bird, Rufous-bellied niltava is something that you might never have seen before.
This bird is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, northern Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The natural habitats of this bird are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.
Also, they measure around 15–18 cm and weigh to about 19–24 g. They are stocky and brightly coloured flycatchers with round head shape, and a fairly short tail. The male partner has the most bright electric blue colour with a yellow belly. While the female has a lighter tone and turns to brownish.
Furthermore, If you happen to see one of these birds on a gloomy day at the right angle, they appear black and orange in colour. Because the electric blue colour forms with the interaction of light.
