Steve Irwin’s children are following their father’s legacy in the best way possible. Robert Irwin recently uploaded a picture on Instagram recreating one of his father’s most iconic pictures while feeding a fully-grown crocodile.
When we talk about animal conservation and wildlife-related shows, the name that pops out everywhere is ‘Steve Irwin.’ He is the perfect personification of an avid animal lover, expert, and television personality who will live on forever.
He has been an inspiration for so many around the world. He taught us how doing what we love will take us a long way. Irwin died doing what he loved which is why, unlike many others, oblivion was not his fate.
His children, Robert and Bindi, have both grown up and are now carrying their father’s legacy. Both have dedicated a part of their lives to animal conservation.
Recently, Robert Irwin posted an image on Instagram that took the internet by storm. He replicated a stunt by his father. The picture is 15 years apart, both of them are feeding the same crocodile, and the picture has been taken from the same angle. It’s a heart-warming example of ‘like father like son.’
As far as Bindi is concerned, she is a natural like Robert. Both of them have taken over the family business as it comes to them naturally. They have both made a career out of the same passion for animals that their father had and are using social media and other platforms to raise awareness.
Bindi recently got engaged to longtime boyfriend and has made a statement on how she wants to honor her father on her wedding. She wants to include her dad on her wedding day as if he were here. Although she did not reveal how she plans on doing that, but she did tell us that her brother Robert will take her down the aisle instead of her father.
Here’s to hoping for a good and blissful life for the newly engaged couple. Their father would be proud of them.
