Puppy named Mork who resembles baby Yoda wins the heart of internet because of his cuteness. Mork suffers from serious illness because of his breeding and was recently rescued by a lady who refused to do his DNA test. The lady doesn't want people to recreate 'mork' just because he is 'cute.'
This cute little puppy named Mork looks just like baby Yoda. He has won the hearts of people by his innocent big eyes but his story isn't all light and cuteness. Mork is the result of an awful breeding practice that has caused him severe intestinal illness. His rescuer refused to do a DNA test to know what breed or mix he is. She doesn't want people to recreate 'Mork' just because he is 'cute.'

This little puppy is the result of one of the awful breeding practices causing him life-threatening illness. He is here with us today only because of the hard work of some animal rescuers.
He is the product of some particularly bad breeders who don't care what an animal goes through because of their selfishness.
Mork was rescued by HarbinSHS, a China-based rescue that focuses on intercepting animals breed in puppy mills before they are sold to slaughterhouses for the meat trade.
Nikki Carvey, a kind rescuer and founder of California-based Road Dogs & Rescue rescued Mork as soon as she heard about him.
Nikki took good care of the puppy. Since his arrival in California, Mork has gained weight and is now a happy dog.
She doesn't want to know what breed or mix he is, nor is she going to make any assumptions.
She explained her reasoning to HuffPost Australia:
"I don’t want people to replicate him and breed him. He’s got so many congenital issues. He’s got an undershot jaw, and he can’t breathe very well. He’ll have surgery to help him breathe."
Nikki said; "The last thing I want people to do is re-create Mork because he is 'cute'."
