The GMB presenter was mocked by his co-host Susanna Reid on his resemblance to Home Alone's Pigeon Lady - Brenda Fricker. Back in 2018, Piers Morgan's son Spencer tweeted about his father's uncanny resemblance to the pigeon lady, which gained huge attention from his father's Twitter followers.
Morgan has always denied the comparisons - to Brenda Fricker - and did so again. The Good Morning Britain presenter was mocked by his co-host Susanna Reid after bringing up the issue on the show on 8 December.
“Can we just have a look at ‘Home Alone 2’ because, frankly, it is the best picture,” Reid said. “Lots of people watch ‘Home Alone 2’ and wonder if this is you.”
Morgan, 55, replied in mock outrage, “Why does this keep coming around? That is not me. I am not the bag lady in Home Alone 2".
Reid claimed she had proof they were the same person, showing footage from an episode in 2018 where Morgan was covered in pigeons.
It all actually started when Piers' son Spencer once insisted his dad was in the movie too - as the Pigeon Lady.
Back in 2018, Spencer took to Twitter, sharing a still of the Oscar-winning actress Brenda Fricker. He had his dad's followers in hysterics after comparing him to the iconic Pigeon Lady from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
Tagging his dad, he quipped: "Chilled night watching Home Alone 2. Always forget you're in it @piersmorgan."
His fans flooded to comment on the resemblance.
Has anyone ever seen Piers Morgan and the pigeon lady from Home Alone 2, in the same room at the same time?? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/bVIbbf9pK4— Magic Beans🐿️ (@DeanJC420) December 7, 2020
However, Piers, 53, retweeted his son's post with three angry face emojis, clearly not amused by the post.
Out of Morgan's 27,000 Twitter followers, Many agreed that the two resemble. Whereas, according to some others, actress Brenda Fricker, and not Piers Morgan, should be offended at the comparison.
Nevertheless, Morgan's fans think his son Spencer won the internet after mocking his father online.
Can you find any resemblance or you think otherwise?
