This squirrel stopped to admire nature, and a photographer in Vienna, Austria, was swift enough to capture the moment in a picture.
Wildlife photography is way trickier than traditional photography. It’s not like you can ask animals to pose in front of the camera.
Whatever a wildlife photographer captures, depicts the true nature of the animal.
One such photographer in Vienna, Austria, captured a squirrel admiring the scent of a yellow daisy. Dick van Duijn, 34, from the Netherlands, said that he spent two hours and took roughly 200 photos in order to capture the moment.
He went specifically to capture ground squirrels, and the image he captured has been making rounds on the internet.
The way the curious squirrel closes its eyes to enjoy the scent gives such a candid vibe. Turns out, animals enjoy mother nature as much as we do.
In a series on images, Duijin managed to capture the exact moment in which a squirrel investigates a daisy, takes a whiff, and attempts to take a small bite out of it.
“I was really happy after capturing a photo like this. This curious ground squirrel started smelling and tasting the flower. It was great to witness this and very satisfying.”
It is almost like the squirrel is posing for the picture. It's not every day that we get to witness such a touching and beautiful moment like this one.
