A 150 days old Baby Koala fell off the from the tree Losing her mother and a broke her arm in the fall in Australia. An arm cast Is her last support.

One orphaned baby koala has been getting a lot of attention across social media after falling out of a tree and breaking hearts with her tragic story in Australia, Melbourne. The Koala is estimated to be only 150 days old and he's just a half kilograms. This baby Koala fell out of the tree with her Mother.

The story is breaking hearts all over the internet. At this age, baby koalas are in their mother's pouch and this Koala is struggling for her life. Typically, mother Koalas carry their children in their pouches for six months but this baby doesn't have that due to the tragic circumstances.

Sadly, the baby's mother had to be euthanized after the fall leaving the little one alone. Not only the baby joey lost her mother but also broke her arm. The baby was taken to Werribee Open Range Zoo where carers have been looking after the tiny thing.

The orphaned tot received a tiny arm cast to help its recovery. And that arm cast is so little just like your finger!

The internet has gone crazy seeing this koala in this little arm cast and can't get over its pictures. I'm not sure just what exactly it is about witnessing such a sweet little creature be bundled up inside a blanket while it sports an over-sized yet somehow incredibly small arm cast that makes me want to curl up in a ball and sob.

At first, even the nursing staff was not sure about joey's survival. Veterinary nurse Jess Rice, explained to Metro‚Äč, "It was really touch and go when she was brought to us". She further said that it's too early for the baby Koala to be out if her mother's pouch. But thank God she is doing fine now.

However, this joey missed her mother so a replacement was arranged for her that was a toy stuffed Koala. She clung to her and is now doing a bit better. "Koala joeys are often given toys to provide comfort and teach them how to hang off the fur as they would with their mother", Rice said.

In a few months, this joey hopefully will be released in the wild. As her health gets better with time she will be ready to face the world then.
