It all started when the 21-year-old woman found the female doll when she was a teenager and has been in a relationship ever since.
Well, you know what they say that love is blind and it knows no boundaries? This 21-year-old woman from Massachusetts has taken the age-old adage to another level, thanks to her bizarre wedding with a zombie doll. Yes, you read that perfectly right! And if you think it can't get any weird, wait there's more! The doll is actually 37 years old and also has its own name, Kelly Rossi, reports Unilad.
The woman, who goes by the name Felicity Kadlec, has married the doll and believes her world is complete now! Interestingly enough, the zombie doll has no birth certificate to identify a birthplace. However, it all started when Felicity found the female doll when she was a teenager and has been in a relationship with it ever since.
Kelly, the zombie doll, was found on a ‘creepy doll‘ website and oddly enough, Felicity started developing romantic feelings three years later. Why oh why! The 'couple' are now enjoying their happily married life after their wedding ceremony took place in Tiverton, Rhode Island.
The wedding was sort of a low-key affair as it cost Felicity $500 which was attended by four of her family friends. Wait, it doesn't end here! The wedding also witnessed eight of Felicity’s other dolls, who ‘watched’ her wed the ‘love of her life’.
The wedding photos were oddly nice as it has Felicity in a beautiful white wedding dress, lovingly embracing the zombie doll, who was also well-dressed in a tuxedo for the occasion. However, Kelly, the zombie doll, stuck to its roots and decided not to wash the blood off its face or tidy up its teeth.
The wedding bride Felicity, whose joy knew no bounds, told Unilad: "Kelly is the most valuable one! She’s been my world for years. Our wedding ceremony was beautiful and perfect – exactly the way I dreamed it would have been."
"I made sure that the whole wedding was done properly so it would be as official as possible, and we consummated the marriage afterward."
While detailing more on their gender identities, Felicity revealed, "Kelly was the groom as she takes the male role in our relationship, she is a tomboy so wore a suit – I feel she was most comfortable as the groom." She added, "Despite having been in a relationship with Kelly for four years, getting married to her has made me feel so much closer to her, both emotionally and intimately."
Apart from the oddly beautiful pictures, there is also a video of the ceremony that shows Felicity’s dolls/guests standing at the altar, as she grabs hold of Kelly for their matrimonial kiss.
Felicity, who now resides in Vinita, Oklahoma, said that she loves the zombie doll from all her heart and wouldn’t change her for the world. She said: "I married Kelly but only because I accept her for who she is, I look past her bloody face and I don’t mind her not having a jaw."
Now that is surely a love story that has got us thinking, of 'corpse,' love is blind! Here is the video of their wedding!
