Marilyn Monroe's Iconic Dress Fluttering Pose Statue Sparks A Controversy As It Returns To Palm Spring.

A giant statue of Marilyn Monroe in her iconic dress-fluttering pose is making a comeback in the California desert after being there in 2012, but now, people are finding the statue to be blatantly sexist and inappropriate to be placed in a museum.

Marilyn Monroe's dress fluttering pose has got to be the most iconic of all times and was made into a statue by  Seward Johnson and was first placed in Palm Springs from 2012 to 2014. For some reasons, it was removed from there, but now when it's having a comeback as a tourist spot in the palm springs art museum it's receiving a good backlash from the public for being inappropriate.

The 26-foot tall stainless steel statue titled "Forever Marilyn" has returned to the city of Palm Springs after a 7-year hiatus and is here to stay for good as it towers in front of the entrance to the Palm Springs Art Museum.

Of course, some like it hot out there and now they're utterly outraged about the "Forever Marilyn" being resurrected but for wildly different reasons. The controversy going on is due to the statue depicting obscenity, sexism, and basic geography. And this seems not alright for children and students visiting and witnessing such stuff. This is also a mark on Marilyn's legacy.

There are even concerns about where Marilyn's ass is facing, which is directly at the front doors of the museum. A local official says he worries about the thousands of students who'll have to bear witness to Marilyn's derriere annually and he finds it offensive.

Forever Marilyn's statue is not the honorable homage many fans feel Marilyn deserves. As the statue is upskirt however it's from one of the best scenes in Marilyn's career but it goes out of some limits.
