What The Fork! Patient Complains Of Stomach Ache, Doctors Discover 14 Pieces Of Cutlery Inside

A man from India began complaining of a severe stomach ache and was rushed to the hospital, where doctors were shocked to discover he had eaten several pieces of cutlery!

When we get a tummy ache, we can usually chalk it down to a couple of sure-shot things: we probably ate something really nasty, we haven't eaten enough, or we haven't eaten on time. But one dude's mystery tummy troubles dropped countless jaws.

A man in India began complaining of severe abdomen pain which landed him in the hospital. He was rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College in the Mandi district, where doctors tried their best to get to the root cause of his pain.

When the doctors couldn't figure out what was causing the intense pain, they decided to take a closer look at his stomach. They took an X-ray and were shocked, to say the least, to find several pieces of cutlery floating around this guy's digestive tract!

The medical team acted fast and decided to perform an emergency operation to remove the cutlery from the man's innards. During the surgery, doctors managed to pull out seven small steel spoons, two toothbrushes, two small screwdrivers, a rod, and a small knife!

Thankfully, the procedure was performed by a skilled group of doctors who managed to save the man's life. The medical experts believe that the unnamed man could have been suffering from a condition called 'Pica', a rare disorder that makes people crave eating unusual objects.

If a person suffers from Pica, they're drawn to eat strange substances that are not food and provide no nutritional value. It can be a fatal disorder, so if you find out that your pal has been reaching for the cutlery to satisfy his cravings, we'd suggest heading to the doctor as soon as possible!
