Kylie Jenner Has Been Named Highest-Paid Celebrity Of 2020.

The 23-year-old celebrity was added to Forbes' billionaires' list earlier this year. However, her name was later dropped due to claims that said her wealth was exaggerated.

Recently, Forbes released the title of highest-paid celebrity for the year 2020, and unsurprisingly, Kylie Jenner was the one to achieve it. The Instagram celebrity and reality star with a successful cosmetics business pocketed $540 million pre-tax, making her the highest-paid celebrity. She earned more than the other four celebrities ( from the highest-paid list) combined who earned a total of $485m. Kanye stays on second with an amount of $170m, Roger Federer on third with $106.3m, Cristiano Ronaldo stood fourth as he made $105m, and Lionel Messi at fifth with $104m.

The 23-year-old celebrity was added to Forbes' billionaires' list earlier this year. However, her name was later dropped due to claims that said her wealth was exaggerated.
The family's accountant had provided Forbes with tax returns suggesting the company had made more than $300m in sales in 2016, with publicists claiming sales of $330m the following year. The business news outlet published an article that sought to outline why Jenner is 'no longer a billionaire', arguing that there was a 'web of lies' behind her fortune.

After the piece was published, the entrepreneur and reality TV star took to social media to hit back, saying in a series of tweets that Forbes' article contained 'inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions'.
"What am I even waking up to. I thought this was a reputable site... All I see are a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions lol. I've never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. Period," she posted.
"'Even creating tax returns that were likely forged' that's your proof? So you just THOUGHT they were forged? Like actually what am I reading. I'm doing perfectly fine. I can name a list of 100 things more important right now than fixating on how much money I have."

She said that she felt 'blessed beyond her years' with a beautiful daughter and a flourishing business.
"If Kylie Cosmetics did $125 million in sales in 2018, how could it have done $307 million in 2016 (as the company's supposed tax returns state) or $330 million in 2017?" stated Forbes. "Jenner is 'not a billionaire', a 'more realistic accounting of her personal fortune puts it at just under $900 million'," it concluded
