Incumbent President Trump Once Again Says He 'Won' The Election.

Again, President Donald Trump appeared to say this week that he "won" the US Presidential election in 2020.

Donald Trump once again tweeted that he won the election in a tweet on Nov 16. He claims that the votes had been counted unfairly. No vote watchers or observers were allowed while counting votes. And the company was privately owned which was checking votes and has no good reputation.

Trump has however, so far failed to accept the Democratic Party's victory and even baselessly accused voting fraud.

On Saturday, November 7, Democratic nominee and former Vice President Joe Biden was projected to become the 46th President of the United States by various news and media outlets.

As of the time of writing, CNN projects that Joe Biden received 306 electoral votes and a total of 78,678,763 popular votes and that with a total of 73,116,708 public votes, Donald Trump received 232 electoral votes.

On the morning of November 16, in a post addressed to his 8 million Twitter followers, the 74-year-old POTUS wrote: "I WON THE ELECTION! [sic]"

A warning sticker on Trump's tweet was slapped on the social media platform, which read: "Official sources called this election differently," which contained links to articles portraying Biden as the President-Elect.

A number of Twitter users then took to the comments to ridicule Trump's tweet.

This comment seems to refute another tweet posted on November 15 by Trump the day before in which he seemed to consider Biden's victory for the first time in part.

Trump tweeted:

"[Biden] won because the Election was Rigged. NO VOTE WATCHERS OR OBSERVERS allowed, vote tabulated by a Radical Left privately owned company, Dominion, with a bad reputation & bum equipment that couldn’t even qualify for Texas (which I won by a lot!), the Fake & Silent Media, & more! [sic]"

Per Sky News, Trump has also made comments indicating that he may not longer be in the White House next year.

Trump said on ITV News in a debate on the American government's COVID vaccination policy at the White House Rose Garden: "Ideally, we won't go to a lockdown, I won't go, maybe this administration won't go to a lockdown."

He added: "Whatever happens in the future who knows… which administration will be... I guess time will tell but I can tell you this administration won't go into lockdown."
