Rachel's husky Koda ran away from her house last December. She searched for her but was unsuccessful. After two days, Koda returned alive and well as if nothing happened. Rachel was curious and decided to check her neighbor's trail cameras and spotted Koda on an adventure with her male deer friend.
Last December, Rachel's husky Koda went missing from her house. She searched for her everywhere near her house but was unable to find her pet. After two days, Koda returned alive and well as if nothing happened. Several days after her return, Rachel decided to check their neighbor’s trail cameras. She wanted to see if the cameras may have spotted her and it turned out that it did spot her that too with her new, unlikely friend – a male deer. The two were spotted playing and napping and spent around 12-hours with each other. Neither the dog saw the deer as prey and nor the deer saw the dog as a predator. It was pretty amazing so Rachel decided to share their friendship with the rest of the world, she posted their pictures on her facebook account and people absolutely loved them.
Losing a pet is the last thing a pet owner wants, it's like losing a child for them. So when Koda ran away from her house, it was pretty hard for Rachel to deal with the loss. She searched the woods near her house but still couldn't find her baby,
Rachel told that Koda is very smart so she didn’t doubt she could find her way home.
“We definitely searched for her, but in the end, she just came back. She is really smart, so I didn’t doubt she could find her way home,” Koda’s owner later told the media. Fortunately, the husky came back well and alive. However, several days after Koda had returned, her owner decided to check with her neighbor. Apparently, the neighbor had a trail camera in the woods by their home, so she decided to check with them to see if Koda had been spotted.
The buck can be seen huddling up next to the husky, as well as eating and napping with her. For the entire evening, Koda can be seen playing and just spending time next to the buck who didn’t seem bothered by her presence at all.
“It was quite something,” Rachel told the media. “Based on the time they spent on the frame, it looked like they spent over 12 hours together. There’s also another photo where there’s two bucks in the picture with her.”
So it turned out that Koda, the husky, went on an adventure with her male deer friend and spent a good time playing with him.
