They usually start blooming after two to four months of planting. Once fully bloomed, they can live up to 100 days, depending on their physical condition.

I can’t believe that all this time we though sunflowers only exist in yellow color when that is completely false. Apart from yellow, these beauties are also grown in pink.

These gorgeous strawberry blonde sunflowers have my heart. Look at how beautifully the color fades out towards the edge of the petals. The contrast with the jet-black color of seeds is just amazing.

The Strawberry blonde sunflowers are also known as Helianthus annuus and are more common than you think. The best part is, they are very easy to grow and take care of, which makes them ideal for beginner gardeners.

Strawberry blonde sunflowers can get pretty tall. Human size tall. Their average height is five - six feet. Hence, if you decide to plant them, keep in mind that you might have to give them a bit of support if they get up that high. Probably using wooden dowels.

If you live in a windy and cold area, you might as well not plant them. Since they prefer blooming in full sun, well-drained yet moist soil.
I know what my next gardening project is. Do you?
