The famous rapper, Kanye West had surprised everyone by announcing he'd run for president in the 2020 elections. We also know that the Tesla CEO, Elon Musk was one of the first people to offer him his support.
"We must now realise the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future.I am running for president of the United States," West had made the announcement on Twitter. Elon Musk had responded to Kanye's announcement with a tweet. "You have my full support!"
Kanye has not dropped out yet and he's working to resolve issue and get on the ballot. However, Musk thinks 2024 would be a better time to run for president. He later made another tweet saying, "I have not dropped my support for Kanye, although I think 2024 would be better than 2020."
"Kanye explained afterward some of the reasoning behind why he said what he said. It makes more sense than many people, including me, realised," he wrote, referring to West's interview with Forbes.
