Donald Trump disclosed that he is thinking of running for president again in 2024.

In a recent interview the Ex-US president Donald Trump revealed that he has his sight set on the 2024 presidential campaign.

Donald Trump, the former US president who lost out on a second term in office to Joe Biden, recently said that he is "100%" thinking of entering the presidential run in three years' time.
What’s more interesting is that he hinted that he could tap Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as his running mate this time around. Trump disclosed this news in a call-in interview with Maria Bartiromo of Fox Business channel.

He was asked whether he was thinking about running for president again. Without hesitation, Trump responded,

"Yes, 100 percent."

He added,

“And the polls show that everybody wants me to do it. One hundred percent I'm thinking about running and we will, I think, be very successful.”

That is when Bartiromo asked Trump about a potential running mate, and whether he's thinking of DeSantis for the job.
Trump responded,

“Well he's a friend of mine. I endorsed Ron and after I endorsed him he took off as a rocket ship, he's done a great job as governor. A lot of people like that – you know, I'm just saying what I read and what you read – they love that ticket. But certainly, Ron would be considered, he's a great guy.”

Talking about another presidential run, Trump said,

“So, I'm giving it very serious consideration.”

Moreover, while talking about his polls, he said,

“Nobody's seen anything more positive.”

He went on,

“If you do it, I think probably the most appropriate time would be right after the '22 election, that's my opinion. Could do it sooner, but I think right after the election would be good, especially if you have a good election. Now I'm not sure if you didn't have a good election, I'm not sure that that wouldn't be good also if you want to know the truth.”

Trump further said,

“I've got tremendous numbers ... there is more popularity [for me] now than there was the day before the election. Because they see how bad things are at the border. They see what is going on, they see that their guns are gonna be gone ... their taxes are going up. Regulations are going through the roof. Job [losses] are going to go up. So, I say this: I am looking at it very seriously. Beyond seriously. From a legal standpoint, I don’t want to really talk about it yet. It's a little too soon.”
