A soon-to-be-bride called off her wedding after her friends and family refused to pay the $1,500 that she had charged to let them come to her dream wedding. Here is the whole story that you might not want to believe in.
It is normal for brides to get a bit out of control before their wedding day arrival due to the anxiety and emotional pressures but here is one bride who canceled her wedding day four days prior because her guests wouldn't fulfill the condition required to attend the function.
Susan wanted to be a Kardashian for a day and so the woman demanded $1,500 (£1,160) from every guest. Whoever would not pay the amount, could not come to her wedding. Simple. Both, the bride and the groom had saved $15000 for their wedding but that was not enough to arrange the dream wedding that Susan had dreamt of. So, she wanted the guests to pay $45000 collectively to help her plan the way she had thought. According to her, the amount was not much but "quite manageable."
When her friends refused to pay the amount, the bride got so pissed off that she called off the wedding. She wrote about it in a Facebook post where she criticized her friends and family for being 'snakes'.
"Like, we made it CLEAR. If you couldn't contribute, you weren't invited to our exclusive wedding. It's a once in a lifetime party. My ex's family offered to contribute $3,000. So our request for $1500 for all other guests was not fucking out of the ordinary," the post said.
The groom suggested to have an affordable wedding in Las Vegas but Susan had other thoughts about the 'filthy' weddings.
"My ex came into the room and offered to get a vegas wedding done. I laughed in his face, but he was dead serious. He wanted those cheap, raggedy, filthy, whore-like Vegas weddings. I mean WHAT the fuck??"
"I then called my maid of honor and cried my eyes out. Instead of sympathy, I was told that I was asking for way too much and I should stick to my budget. I mean..no words can describe. How could someone who offered me THOUSANDS OF FUCKING DOLLARS then deny me MY promised money and then tell me to shift down my budget???? She KNOWS my fucking DREAM was a blowout wedding. I just wanted to be a Kardashian for a day and then live my life like normal."
Susan concluded her post with bitter words. "Anyway. I am exhausted. I am bone tired. My heart is not the same. It's stone cold. Fragmented. Empty. I need to get away from this awful society. How hard would it have been to f****** donate, friends? Do I matter to you? Just f****** give me money for my wedding. Won't even sugarcoat. Goodbye, see you in two months."
Her friends commented on her post with utter disappointment.
"I have no words you are out of your mind, Susan," wrote one.
" WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU??? Who on hell EXPECTS that amount of money?"
Another bashed Susan and wrote, "All those other Bridezillas out there should bow out in shame."
According to Susan, she is going to be "exploring her soul and ridding herself of toxic energy caused by her friends and family."
