A lady in Florida along with her fifteen friends test positive for Coronavirus.

Women too keen to celebrate reopening of bars in the area went to a party together. They all tested positive for COVID-19 a few days later.

Erika Crisp, a Florida healthcare worker, while talking to News4Jax, revealed that she and 15 of her friends tested positive for the Coronavirus following a night out at a Jacksonville Beach bar.
The group was super excited to go out after months of lockdown. Since all the bars in the town opened that night, they felt like things were in control, it turns out, they made a huge mistake.
According to Crisp, on June 6, she and more than a dozen of her pals headed to Lynch’s Irish Pub for a night of drinks and celebration. Who knew that first trip out would ultimately prove to be the moment when all 16 people were exposed to the very virus they’d spent so long avoiding?

Being a healthcare worker herself, Erika was pretty disappointed at her carelessness. Since she and her friends were all infected, Crisp realized that bar night was the common denominator among all of them.
They had all been distancing and staying indoors for the last several months until the lockdown was lifted and the bars opened.
She said,

“The first night we go out, Murphy’s Law, I guess. The only thing we have in common is that one night at that one bar.”

The worst part is, neither Crisp nor any of her friends wore masks during that outing, something she seriously regrets now.

She said,

“I think we were careless, and we went out into a public place when we should not have, and we were not wearing masks. I think we had a whole ‘Out of sight, out of mind’ mentality. The state opens back up and said everybody was fine, so we took advantage of that.”

Her friends have been sick for the past week, and are experiencing breathing problems linked to the virus.
Following her and her friends’ tests, the bar closed for a thorough sanitization. However, it has opened now despite even more coronavirus cases being reported.

Turns out despite even more coronavirus cases being reported. Allegedly, the bar has spent $7000 on sanitization and has also implemented several hand sanitizer stations.

This story is a massive lesson for us all. Despite lockdown being lifted to help the falling economy of the world, it's imperative we all follow social distancing SOPs.

In other news, celebrities and other important personnel are doing great to help provide relief for the cause.
