With a creative mind and kind heart, Pavel Abramov is a 9-year old Russian boy who paints beautiful portraits of pets in exchange for food and other supplies for a local animal shelter.
Heroes appear in every form. This story is proof that even if one person is willing, they can contribute to the betterment of the world too. This is a story of a kindhearted 9-year old Russian boy Pavel Abramov. The young artist from the small city of Arzamas has been painting beautiful portraits of animals, not for the purpose of buying games or toys but to exchange it for animal food and supplies that he can donate to the local animal shelter.
Pavel's determination proves that even one person's efforts can make this world a better place. Pavel with his mom started this project named “Kind paintbrush” about a year ago. The idea came to the young boy's mind when he lost his four-legged pal in an accident and then he could no longer ignore the strays wandering in the city anymore.
Pavel did come up with a creative idea to honor his lost pet.
The mother-son duo's journey of volunteering also includes managing a Russian social media site, VK, called “What a little volunteer is capable of?” that proves that any person is capable of bringing change. The young man has no big team to manage his site but with his big heart and support of his mom, Pavel is set to do wonders.
Pavel paints pictures of real pets and in exchange, he makes a deal to provide food and other animal supplies to the shelter. The young boy is motivated by the courageous stories of pets rescued from the cold streets and this is what inspires him to move forward.
