7 Simple Steps The World Health Organisation (WHO) Wants You To Follow To Stay Safe.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has instructed people to follow these simple 7 steps to ensure their safety during these difficult times.

Coronavirus outbreak has tensed the world and everybody wants things to go back to normal. During these helpless times, we can at least make sure to keep ourselves and our families safe by following some simple steps.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has instructed people to follow basic seven measures to ensure that a person stays safe from the virus.

1. Coronavirus has been declared a "pandemic" by the World Health Organisation (WHO)

Around 5,800 people have died because of this deadly virus. The number of affected patients is also increasing day by day with the current number being above 150,000.

During these difficult times, the WHO has requested people to follow basic seven measures to ensure their safety.

3. Step: 1 Wash your hands frequently

Washing your hands frequently is the first step to keep yourself safe. WHO has instructed people to wash hands with soap or an alcohol-based hand rub. Washing hand thoroughly help kill any type of virus.

4. Step: 2  Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth

Coronavirus can enter your body through your eyes, nose, and mouth so one should avoid touching their face. WHO recommends to avoid touching surfaces that may not be clean and pick up viruses that may enter the body through our eyes, mouths, and nose.

5. Step: 3 Cover your cough

Covering your cough can help decrease the spread of viruses or germs. The elbow bend is the preferred method to cover the cough or the sneeze as it does not contaminate your hands.

6. Step: 4 Avoid crowded places

Avoid places full of people as COVID-19 spreads mostly through respiratory droplets that come out of the mouth or nose.

7. Step: 5 Stay at home if you feel unwell – even with a slight fever and cough

Staying at home is the best method to keep yourself and your family safe. By staying indoors, one can recover quickly and also avoid infecting others.

If you feel like you might have the infection, then seek medical care but it's important to call first to get the right advice.
